June Legislative Policy Committee Call - Cancelled

We will NOT be holding a June Legislative Policy Committee call, but PLEASE attend the 40^th Annual Conference on June 20^th! The Conference Committee has organized a fantastic one-day conference that is available at very affordable rates for in-person and virtual participation.

“MACTA the Future” will be a celebration of 40 years of MACTA representing our members on vital legislative and policy issues, protecting and preserving the strong local franchising and PEG tradition in Minnesota.

The conference will include one major session to update our members on the advocacy plan that will lead to a legislative effort in 2024 to modernize the funding structure for local programming and authority over local rights-of-way.  You’ll hear from legislative, lobbying, and coalition building experts on what steps we need to take in the coming months to be successful.

Other sessions will include helpful conversations about diversifying revenues, sharing our value, and of course, as always, the latest on production, operational, and technology topics.
