We will dive into all things cable franchising including the formal and informal process. Hear what’s new and trending in cable franchise renewals and the impact of the FCC 621 Order on existing and new cable franchises, including PEG channel capacity and funding. Learn the impacts of state cable franchising legislation on competition in your community and on community PEG channels and PEG funding. Finally, our speakers will examine franchising options for fiber network providers and other non-cable service providers offering video programming involving some use of public right of way for network facilities.
