MACTA continues its Covid-19 Virtual Brown bag workshop series on Tuesday, June 30 at 1pm. Many of our cities are planning candidate forums and moving city meetings back into city Hall chambers as the State of Minnesota continues to open up. Events like sports and concerts could start again sometime in July.

How do we open up productions while trying to keep employees and the public safe? This brown bag will discuss that and more on workplace adjustments. Here is the packed itinerary for the workshop:

  • Modifying trucks & crew safety for event productions (plexiglass dividers, minimizing crew needed, wearing masks)
  • Modifying field production practices (boom mics vs. lav mics, keeping yourself safe in the field, coworkers driving separately to locations)
  • City Meetings & candidate forums (moving back to city halls & safe practices)
  • Cleaning equipment and production spaces (how everyone is doing this, cleaners to use, UV lights, safety)

If you or a member of your staff would like to present on one of the above topics please contact Eric Strouse to get the details.

A link to access the webinar will be included in your event confirmation email.
